Author's note

This comic was written as part of a small crash course on plurality. It is by no means extensive, perfectly accurate, or a complete guide! It's meant to simplify concepts to make them easier to understand, especially for those that know next to nothing about plurality.

That said, let's get on to descriptions!

Panel 1

Text: "PLURALITY, or being plural, is the experience of sharing your brain with other people."

Different systems tend to experience different things, or even the same things differently! Some parts that might affect this are:

• number of headmates
• system/headmate origins
• having DID/OSDD
• other disorders
• trauma/abuse
• current situation

endogenic: formed for a reason outside of trauma; is also an umbrella!

parogenic: formed intentionally, or through conscious thought

spiri-/metagenic: formed for spiritual reasons

protogenic: formed at/around birth

The bottom line is this: PLURALITY covers ALL (emphasized) experiences of being more than one. DID & OSDD are just some of those experiences! There are plenty more (emphasized) where that came from
